Overview
The purpose of this grant is to support the start of new classes or continuation of existing classes that center and serve communities in need of more accessible and inclusive movement activities and spaces. This can include but is not limited to communities connected by race, gender, religion, age, culture, neighborhood, language, body size, income, disability, health, or life experience.
Eligibility
To apply, applicants must:
Be a certified (or comparably trained) movement instructor with a minimum 4 months experience teaching group classes.

Offer an upcoming or existing movement-based class that intentionally centers and supports a community in need of more accessible and inclusive movement.
The Application Is Open!
Applications can be submitted at any time, and are reviewed at the end of each month. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status by the end of the next month. For example, applications received in August will be notified by September 30th.
Note: This grant supports both existing classes already in progress, and the start of new classes. This can include a future class only able to occur if awarded the grant. This is an opportunity for potential applicants to identify a community in need of more accessible and inclusive movement, and outline a class they could provide if awarded this grant.
If you have any questions about this opportunity, how your class may fit with the grant requirements, or any questions on the application, please reach out!
